Chiefs sign RB Battle

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- The Kansas City Chiefs on
Wednesday signed running back Jackie Battle to a three-year
contract. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The 6-2, 238-pound Battle, who signed as a rookie free agent
with the Dallas Cowboys before being released prior to the start
of the season, signed with Kansas City as a member of its
practice squad on November 21. In other moves, the club added tight end Zac Alcorn and
linebacker Mickey Pimentel to the practice squad.
