The 2013 college football season gets into full swing Saturday, with numerous marquee games listed up and down the schedule. Let's look at some of our best options for NCAAF picks.

Let’s take a closer look at three games from a college football betting perspective, while offering up a prediction along the way.

LSU Tigers vs. TCU Horned Frogs

LSU has won a school-record 10-straight season openers, with eight of those games coming under the direction of head coach Les Miles.

Miles has compiled a perfect 31-0 SU record in regular-season non-conference games during his time on campus, as the program looks to improve upon its 3-1 SUATS record as NCAAF Odds favorites of 3.5 to 10 points the last two seasons.

Free Pick: LSU Tigers -4

Northwestern Wildcats vs. California Golden Bears

Northwestern is set to open up a season against an opponent hailing from a BCS conference for the fourth consecutive year—winning the previous three opportunities in that situation.

The Wildcats are 7-0 SU in season openers under head coach Pat Fitzgerald, who has also led his alma mater to a 11-1 SU and 9-3 ATS record as favorites since 2011.

Free Pick: Northwestern Wildcats -5

Washington Huskies vs. Boise State Broncos

Washington returns to Husky Stadium for the first time in 18 months, as it played its home schedule at CenturyLink Field in 2012—home of the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League.

The Huskies have two of the more dynamic offensive players in the Pac-12 Conference, with quarterback Keith Price and running back Bishop Sankey.

Over the last two seasons, the team has won and covered the spread in its two games as home favorites of 3.5 to 7 points.
