Miracles happen. That's about the only reason they have
in winning this contest. They are the defending MEAC Champions, but they are
going up against the ACC Champions, which is a very tall order.
The Bulldogs were a very balanced team last year with
Malcolm Long under center and William Ford running the ball, but with Ford
gone, the Bulldogs may be more reliant on Long.
On defense, their only hope is that the Yellow Jackets
offensive line, which has five new starters,
is a complete disaster. We're stretching here, though.

be realistic here, this won't be No. 68.
The Georgia Tech
Yellow Jackets Can Win Because...:
Their running game is going to use the Bulldogs defense
as a treadmill. The Yellow Jackets rushed for 295.4 yards per game last season
and even though Jonathan Dwyer has moved up to the NFL, not many people are
worried about this ground game suffering. Especially not in this game. Anthony
Allen averaged 9.7 yards per carry and he's one of the main reasons for
optimism.
The Bulldogs biggest problem will be the triple option.
If teams in the ACC struggled against it, then what's going to happen to this
MEAC unit?
The Yellow Jackets will have the benefit of returning
quarterback Joshua Nesbitt and that's a big key. He's a duel threat and he's a
decent passer, which is somewhat rare from the quarterback in the
triple-option.
On defense, the Jackets picked up former Virginia head
coach Al Groh and they'll be looking for a strong performance on that side of
the ball in his debut.
Overall, things look really good for them in this game.
