Charlie Weis and Notre Dame look to break their three-game losing streak to start the season in front of the Irish faithful today against Michigan State.  Take the home dogs in this one.

Last week in this spot we called for a major upset with Iowa State over Iowa, and the Cyclones delivered the goods. This week it's Notre Dame's turn as they catch a Michigan State squad that appears vastly overrated. Granted, the Irish have had their problems but the fact of the matter is has performed admirably against three preseason Top 20 ranked squads.

Meanwhile, the Spartans take to the road for the first in in 2007 with their Big Ten opener with Wisconsin on deck. MSU has been favored only three times (one cover) in the last 25 games in this series and is just 5-13 ATS in their last 18 tries as a road favorite. Look for Charlie Weis to dip into his bag of tricks as Notre Dame enters the win column here today.

Free Pick: Notre Dame +10½ (-107)
