Joe Glenn has a solid team at Wyoming this season with a balanced offensive attack and stout defense.  Take the Cowboys and the points this Saturday at Boise State.

I had hoped to see +14 here but will not pass up an opportunity on Wyoming as a double digit dog. The Cowboys have done everything right so far this season. They have a balanced offense and solid defense. They flat-out dominated Virginia in their season opener, even more so than the final score indicates, and last week notched a 14-point win over Utah State.

[articleBanner]handicapper[/articleBanner]Wyoming gets both BYU and TCU at home this year which means this is the last game on their schedule that they will either not be favored or a mild underdog to win. It could be a dream season for them. Wyoming actually had more total yardage than Boise in last year's meeting but a 61-yard interception return for a touchdown was the deciding factor in a 17-10 final. In the game Wyoming held Boise to a season low 246 total yards and 3.2 ypc. The two teams met last year before Wyoming QB Karsten Sween took over the starting job and they are 7-2 with him as a starter going back to last year.

While Wyoming has improved, Boise has clearly digressed. The Broncos lost their QB and top four receivers from last year, as well as a slew of players on defense. They failed to make enough plays last week against a very suspect Washington secondary leading to their first loss in fifteen games. With their win streak snapped and dreams of another BCS bid all but over, Boise could be in a letdown situation this week. Either way they are in for a competitive battle from the Cowboys. Take the points.

Free Pick: Wyoming +13½, (-110, ½-Unit)
