Jeff Alexander - Home dogs are always inviting, and that's certainly the case this evening for the Pirates.  Play Pittsburgh at home in PNC Park to end the Cardinals' four-game winning streak.

Jimmy the Moose - Right-hander Braden Looper gives St. Louis a big advantage on the mound tonight in Pittsburgh.  Lay the small chalk on the Cardinals when they take on the Pirates at PNC Field.

Marc Lawrence - Carlyle has been in sharp form at home, with a six to one strikeout to walk ratio in his last three starts in Atlanta. With Rodriguez struggling away, play the Braves.

Tom Stryker - The Cubs were handcuffed last night by Philadelphia's Cole Hamels.  That won't happen tonight with the Phillies throwing Adam Eaton.  Chalk this one up to Chicago at home in Wrigley.

Brad Diamond - The Chicago Cubs have won each of Jason Marquis’ last six starts, and they are still 20-7 in their last 27 games vs. right-handed starters. Lay the modest chalk here tonight.

Marc Lawrence - Lowry has pitched much better on the road than at home this year, and Penny’s annual second half decline has begun. Take the Giants as a nice-sized dog.

Al McMordie - The Dodgers have given Penny excellent run support, and they have hit southpaws like Lowry well all year. The Giants should score some too, so go Over.
