After watching a win slip from their hands last night, Josh Beckett and the Boston Red Sox will be eager to get back in the win column this evening in Seattle.

The Boston Red Sox are 21-15 on the season while the Seattle Mariners come in at 17-19 this year following last night's come-from-behind, 5-4 win.  That was just the fourth win this month for the M's.

Boston is scoring 5.6 runs per game overall this year and 6 runs per game against lefthanded starters this season. The Red Sox bullpen has a good 3.12 ERA overall this year and a 3.34 ERA on the road this season.

Seattle is scoring only 3.4 runs per game against righthanded starters this year. Garret Olson is making his first start his year and last year his last three starts resulted in three losses.

Boston's Josh Beckett is 3-1 with a 3.29 ERA overall vs Seattle since 1997 while Olson is 0-4 with a 7.76 ERA overall vs Boston since 1997. We'll recommend a small play on Boston tonight.
