The Red Sox are headed to the windy-city for a three game
series vs. the White Sox. Boston has the American League leading overall record

overall.

John Lester vs. Edwin Jackson
John Lester has an overall record of 10-4 on the season,
with an era of 3.23. John has an impressive 7-1 road record with a 2.80 era,
while holding opposing batters to a very low average of .202. He has a 1-0
record in his last three starts, with a near perfect era of 0.55. Lester's
record at night is 6-4 with an era of 4.03, while allowing opponents to hit him
at .270 avg.
Edwin Jackson has a overall record of 7-7 for the season,
3.92 era. He also has a miserable night record of 1-5, with a era of 3.79. The

Andrew Miller vs. Mark Buehrle
Andrew Miller started out on fire when he first arrived from
triple A Pawtuket, to take the place of Dice K who went down with a season
ending injury of his elbow that required Tommy John surgery. The Red Sox picked
up the young hurler from the Marlins in the off-season and the move added to
the depth of the Red Sox starting rotation. Home record is 5-1, 3.22 ERA.
The Chicago White Sox have been in a stage of recent descent
and the former Ace, Mark Buehrle has been the one bright spot amongst this
highly acclaimed group starters. He has been absolutely on a tear since May
with a record of 7-2, plus he has a surprising record of 12-2 in games which he
didn't pick up a win. Mark has been pitching really well in the last 3 games
and has a 2-0 record with a 0.86 era.
