temporary image holder

San Antonio Spurs -6½ to close gap vs. Hornets

The Spurs fit the profitable profile of teams returning home down 0-2 in the playoffs, and they are a stronger club than some others that have rallied in Game 3. They are also 37-7 at home for the year including 3-0 in the playoffs, increasing the likelihood of a much improved performance over the first two games. The Hornets were in this same situation vs. Dallas, and lost Game 3. Look for a double-digit Spurs win.

temporary image holder

Cavaliers, Boston Celtics Under 177

This total seems low, but remember that the Celtics and Cavaliers combined for just 148 points in Game 1. Thus, the oddsmakers adjusted this total by five points, but that may not be enough.

temporary image holder

Rockets, Cavaliers top rebounding margin teams

Rebounding margin is a very predictive statistic that is oftentimes overlooked by rookie bettors. Playing on the teams with the best rebounding margins this season when they are not facing each other has produced a win rate of over 56 percent, and playing against the poorer rebounding clubs when they are not squaring off among themselves has hit at 57 percent. There will be more opportunities in the playoffs too.
