Miami Heat to pull small upset at home over Orlando Magic

With Orlando playing the second of a back-to-back and Miami coming off a home loss with a day off, look for the Heat to win tonight's TNT opener straight up.

The Orlando Magic head south to face Southeast Division rival Miami Heat for the fourth and final regular season meeting between the two clubs.

SBR BasketballOrlando has been playing well of late, but tonight’s affair with Miami puts the Magic in an uncomfortable position playing the second-game of a back-to-back after defeating the Spurs at Amway Arena, 110-84, on Wednesday night.

The Magic has also struggled against winning teams on the highway going 11-17 against the spread, including 4-8 against the number during the second half of the season.

Miami is coming off a home loss to the Spurs on Tuesday night, falling 88-76, and the Heat will look to this televised matchup with their in-state rival as a chance to right the ship after such a horrible showing the last time out.

In fact, the Heat was riding a six-game winning streak at AmericanAirlines Arena before that loss to the Spurs. Although they did not get the win they continued to be solid on the defensive end of the floor holding another opponent below 100 points for the sixth straight game.

We are going to back the host here as Miami not only covers the number but gets the straight up victory over the Magic on Thursday night in South Florida.

Projected Final Score: Miami-90 Orlando-88

Free Pick: Heat +3 (-110)
