Let's take a look at at the other betting options NBA fans have for this Game 4 matchup. Here are my favorite individual player props for tonight's battle between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat.
We've already released our NBA betting picks for the game
tonight, and you can find Jordan Sharp's take on the matchup here as well.
The series is at 2-1 and the Thunder are starting to run out
of opportunities to get back in this thing. They have two more chances in Miami
and need a win to force a return to OKC.
Will they do it? Here are the player props we like most for
Game 4.
LeBron James
Another great effort from LeBron in Game 3 saw him post 29
points, 14 rebounds and three assists. The OVER 9.5 boards would have been your
best bet.
LeBron played to his strengths in the win, using his
physicality and speed to get to the line eight times. He also played
championship-caliber defense on Kevin Durant and was a monster on the glass.
The only change for Game 4 is his point total, which has
moved down slightly to 31. Of all the available options though, we feel the
OVER 9.5 rebounds may be the best choice to beat the NBA odds makers.
We're not quite sure why this number isn't higher. LeBron
averaged 10.8 rebounds in the series win over Indiana, 11.0 RPG in the
conference finals against Boston and has averaged 10.3 through the first three
matchups with OKC. We expect another big number tonight.
Kevin Durant
Durant had a quiet 29 in the Game 3 loss, connecting on
11-of-19 from the floor. He added six rebounds and five turnovers.
Having to deal with foul trouble yet again, the Thunder
sorely missed their superstar in the third quarter and the Heat took advantage
big-time. KD has to be much more careful tonight. OKC needs him on the floor at
all times.
Having said that, we're looking for Durant to take over and
have his best game of the series so far.
Before Game 3, KD had been electrifying in the fourth
quarter, and even though he struggled in that respect on Sunday we're looking
for him to bounce back in this vital battle. He's a fearless competitor and
isn't going to let a shaky finish in Game 3 deter him. Take the OVER 30 points.
The Sidekicks
Dwyane Wade came through with 25 points, seven assists and
seven rebounds in Game 3. He hit 8-of-22 from the floor, but more importantly
got to the line 11 times and made nine. The Heat want him to continue being
aggressive like that.
We still feel Wade's inconsistency is an issue though and
therefore the UNDER 23.5 points could be the way to go.
Chris Bosh struggled from the field in the victory,
something we don't normally see considering he has a great shooting touch for a
big man. Expect him to be more involved tonight and eclipse the 14.5 point mark
bestowed upon him by the sportsbooks.
For the Thunder, which version of Russell Westbrook are we
going to get?
No player is as exciting to watch but also as frustrating as
Westbrook, but as much flak as he's getting he still remains an elite player.
He struggled in Game 3 (19-5-4) but we see him returning to the Game 1 and 2
numbers tonight.
As stubborn as Westbrook is, don't expect the criticism to
faze him. Take the OVER 23.5 points and OVER 6.5 assists.
