Let's take an early look at the odds for Game 2 of the NBA Finals and try to predict which way we should look with our NBA picks as the Miami Heat and Oklahoma City Thunder square off once again.

It was an incredible Game 1 of the NBA Finals, as the Heat came out swinging and the Thunder finished with a knockout. The Thunder won Game 1 105-94, in large part to Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook’s 4th quarters. The two Thunder superstars combined for 25 points in the 4th quarter to lead OKC to a 1-0 series lead.

Lebron James on the other hand, had a horrible 4th quarter (sound familiar?). James only had two made field goals in the 4th and only 7 points on 2-6 shooting in the finals twelve minutes. Dwyane Wade didn’t do much better, as he only had 7 points in the 4th on 3-5. Those aren’t bad numbers, but when your counterparts are on the other side dominating you, it wasn’t good.

Early lines for Game 2 are the exact same as Game 1, and capper Steven Suarez has already provided us with a detailed early look at the opening odds for this game.

Although I’m not quite sure where I’m leaning on the spread, I think the total will get bet up a lot. After it’s close to around 199 or so, I think I’m leaning for the under in Game 2. The Thunder made some outstanding defensive adjustments in the second half of Game 1, and the Heat should fix at the least their defensive struggles in the 4th quarter. Check back tomorrow, as I will provide my final NBA picks on this game, but if I had to make an early pick, I would have to back the under in this game. The Thunder seem to have their defense in sync, and I expect them to shut dowm the Heat once again.
