Make the most out of this year's NBA Finals by checking out the many prob betting options on offer at most of the top sportsbooks. Check out which options we feel have favorable odds and that you should add to your NBA picks.

Much like the Super Bowl, the NBA Finals will have excellent prop betting options for those of you who like to gamble. In this piece, I’ll take a look at some of the different sportsbooks and their prop bets. Some will be player bets, while others will be teams.

Kevin Durant MVPOne of the most popular bets other than who will win the series, is betting on the NBA Finals MVP. The odds’ favorite might surprise you. At an even +100 at Bovada, Kevin Durant is the favorite for such and award. Lebron James comes in second at +180. If it wasn’t for the fact that it would take a miracle for Durant to not win the award if the Thunder win the series, another nice bet might be Russell Westbrook at +550. Opposing point guards have had success against the Heat; see Rajon Rondo in the last series.

Considering I think the Thunder are going to win in six games, I might think about putting some cash on Thunder to do exactly that. Thunder in six games is +300 at BetOnline. In almost the same fashion, back at Bovada, the price on the Thunder series spread is -1 ½ +140.

Are you just looking for the safest bet on the planet? Bovada also has what you need in that department. They are offering -950 odds on the OVER 4.5 total games in this series.

Another prop that caught my eye was a +1500 prop bet if you think there will be a game winning buzzer beater in this series. If that was game tying and game winning, I might have to put a flier on that.

One of my favorite props I’ve seen is a very intriguing +300 bet on their being at least one overtime in the NBA Finals. I would consider that almost too good to pass up.

If you’re not into long shots, there is another one that might be good which deals with whether or not there will be a flagrant foul in the Finals. NBA odds are +100 for NO, and -130 for YES. Seems to be that the sportsbooks think this series might be a bit physical. Speaking of physical, you can get +600 for betting that there will be a suspension in the Finals, or lay -1000 to say NO. I would not advise doing anything with the latter prop.

At BetUS, you can get almost even money on the Thunder to win Game 1 and the series. If you think it will be a close series, you can get +125 for the series to be tied after 4 games.

And if you are like so many professional gamblers that think the Heat will sweep the series because they are so great, you can bet that to and get +1800 on it. Go for it, buddy!

All in all, prop bets are nice, but it takes a special one to take me in. However, the +300 on there being at least one overtime is probably my one and only best bet for the NBA Finals props.
