NBA Picks: Free NBA Predictions and Odds

Our NBA picks for the day are in, as we try to keep our great streak going.

Let's see if we can pick out a couple winners for tonight's NBA action.

Well, I may be struggling with my college basketball picks right now, but the pro game is completely saving my ass. I'm feeling dialed in on the NBA at the moment and I'm not ready in the slightest for this winning run to come to an end.

Nine of my last ten NBA picks have hit the mark. Let's try to keep the good times rolling, folks.

Washington (7-25 SU, 10-22 ATS) vs. Sacramento (10-22 SU, 16-16 ATS)

Tipoff at 7:00 PM EST

Demarcus CousinsAs tempting as it is, I'm not backing the New Orleans Hornets for a third straight night. They're bound to be tired playing their third games in as many days, and I feel there are better options out there.

One of my favorite plays is on Sacramento. The Kings are getting 3.5 points from sportsbooks for their road contest in the nation's capital.

Though they've lost six in a row, Sacramento hasn't played that bad all things considered. They picked up their second straight cover last night in a 108-120 loss to the Miami Heat, thanks in large part to some tremendous offensive performances from Tyreke Evans, Isaiah Thomas and Marcus Thornton.

Evans finished with 21 points, 10 assists and seven boards, while Thomas went on a tear in the third quarter, hitting all five of his threes. He finished with 24 points and Thornton added 23 on 9-of-16 shooting.

The Kings simply didn't have enough firepower against the Heat. I mean, how often do you hit 13 threes and lose by double digits? That's one of the reasons why I think Keith Smart's crew has a very good chance of winning against the struggling Wizards, who've lost three straight. Washington has won only four of their 16 home matchups while going a poor 5-11 ATS.

I really like what Thomas, a rookie guard, has done since being inserted into Sacramento's starting lineup and I'm also expecting DeMarcus Cousins to bounce back in a big way tonight. Take the Kings.

PICK: Sacramento Kings +3.5

Phoenix (14-19 SU, 14-19 ATS) vs. Golden State (12-17 SU, 14-15 ATS)

Tipoff at 9:00 PM EST

Also on my sports betting radar is a pick on a home favorite, and it's Steve Nash's Phoenix Suns. They play host to the Warriors tonight and are favored by 3.5 points. The total is at 203.5.

Steve NashThe Suns haven't lost at home to Golden State in years. In the last five home matchups versus the Warriors, Phoenix has won by an average margin of 15.4 points. This season the Suns won 102-91 to cover as 4.5-point favorites.

It also looks as if the Suns have found their feet a little bit following a rough stretch. They've won two consecutive games (both at home), beating both the Lakers and Wizards by double digits.

Nash has been scary good, averaging a sick 13.2 assists per game over his last 10 appearances. He's also formed a great understanding with Marcin Gortat, who's been quite the unsung hero over in Phoenix. The big man is putting up 20.7 PPG and 12.7 RPG over the Suns' past three matchups.

It's really going to come down to effort (on both ends of the court) for Phoenix. Not typically known for their defensive prowess, the Suns have been able to hold the Lakers to 90 and the Wizards to 88 over the last few days. Another good night at the office is needed against the Warriors, who are no strangers to breaking the century mark.

I for one think Phoenix will do enough to cash and so they are my second play of the night.

PICK: Phoenix Suns -3.5
