Steven Suarez dishes out a three-pack of NBA Picks for today's action.

We had a split last time out and I'm looking for a winning day today. A huge number of NBA matchups means there should be quite a bit of NBA betting value to exploit.

Here the NBA picks that I feel hold the best value for us tonight.

Washington (8-29 SU, 12-25 ATS) vs. L.A. Lakers (23-15 SU, 18-20 ATS)

Tipoff at 7:00 PM EST

Kobe Bryant

The Lakers continued their struggles on the road with an overtime loss to the Detroit Pistons last night. They've now lost three of their last four road games and are 6-13 SU and 5-14 ATS away from L.A. this season.

That doesn't faze me in the slightest though as I think the Lakers come out and destroy the lowly Wizards tonight in the nation's capital, a team they've beaten nine consecutive times. Washington's a brutal 5-15 SU and 6-14 ATS at home on the year and is coming off a 20-point loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday.

With Andray Blatche a complete non-factor, the Wizards' interior has been poor at best, even with a career season from JaVale McGee. That should leave the door wide open for Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol, who combined for 50 points and 24 rebounds in the loss to Detroit, to have their way with Washington tonight. Throw in a dominant Kobe (28.0 PPG, 5.0 RPG, 3.5 APG vs. Wizards last season) and I really feel as if L.A. wins big to cover this sizable spread. Add the Lakers to your NBA picks.

PICK: L.A. Lakers -7.5

Miami (29-9 SU, 20-18 ATS) vs. Atlanta (23-15 SU, 19-18-1 ATS)

Tipoff at 7:30 PM EST

One of the better sports betting options of the day is between two of the Eastern Conference's finest. The Heat hosts the Hawks and are favored by double-digits, with the O/U at 190 at most sportsbooks. The UNDER is 6-2 in Atlanta's last eight and 6-2-1 in Miami's last nine. At home this season, the UNDER is 11-7 for the Heat while it's 14-6 on the road for the Hawks.

Both squads rank in the top ten in defensive efficiency, with Miami holding teams to 94.0 PPG on average and Atlanta even better at a 91.6 PPG mark. Over their last five the Hawks have been even more productive on that front, limiting teams to 40.2 percent shooting and 88.6 PPG.

If Atlanta's to have any chance of winning this game, they must control the tempo and force Miami into running their half-court sets, as the Heat have been killing teams in transition this season. Because the Hawks have done a good job at doing that this season, I think this one has the makings of being a low-scoring battle. Atlanta's won three of four and I'm banking on them not backing down tonight.

PICK: UNDER 190

Golden State (15-20 SU, 17-18 ATS) vs. Memphis (22-15 SU, 18-19 ATS)

Tipoff at 10:30 PM EST

To end the night I'm picking the Warriors to win out over the Grizzlies at home. They are favored by one point for the game and have gone 4-0 ATS in their last four matchups as a favorite of 0.5-4.5 in the NBA odds

Memphis is about as hot as any team out there, but hasn't done so hot (4-11 ATS) as road underdogs recently. The Grizzlies have gone 3-6 both SU and ATS over their previous nine road games, with two of those straight up victories coming over Toronto and New Jersey.

The Warriors meanwhile just snapped out of their offensive funk, dropping 120 on the Wizards the other night. Stephen Curry's return sparked the club, with the sharpshooting guard hitting 5-of-7 shots for 12 points in only nine minutes of action. It was a much-needed win for Mark Jackson's crew and I see them building on that momentum tonight. Memphis has won both meetings this season by a solitary point, including a stunning comeback win at Oracle Arena in January, and I don't think they'll let another one get away.

PICK: Golden State Warriors -1
