The Nets are coming off of a rare win over Sacramento, and they now unbelievably find themselves in a favored role vs. the Pistons. That may be too much to ask from the Nets.
The New Jersey Nets find themselves in the awkward role of favorites when the host the Detroit Pistons tonight.
With KiKi Vandeweghe's Nets closing in (possibly) on the worst season record in NBA history, it's awfully hard to back them as a favorite -- even against this dreadful Detroit Piston club. New Jersey did win their last game 93-79 vs. the Sacramento Kings, but dating back 20 years, NBA teams with a win percentage less than .300 off a win in the last 24 games of the season, are a poor 56-112, 33.0 percent against the spread at home.
Take the Pistons on Friday night.
