BYU Cougars -12 extend Air Force Falcons' losing streak

Air Force is on an 8-game skid, scoring less than 40 points in two of their last five games.  Back the BYU Cougars as the road favorites Tuesday night at the Falcons.

The BYU Cougars (16-5) travel to take on Air Force (9-11) tonight as 12-point favorites. The Cougars, who started out this season winners of 10 in a row, but have been shaky going 6-5 in their last 11 games. Air Force comes in losers of nine or their last 10 games and on a horrible 8-game skid ATS. Their last straight up win was December 28 vs. Dartmouth.

BYU is third in the nation hitting 50% of their field goals this season!  On the other side of the court they are tough against the trifecta, as opponents are only hitting 30% of their 3-point shots. A good shooting team like BYU going up against a bad shooting team like Air Force, this game can get out of hand if Air Force doesn't hit some shots to keep pace tonight.

Air Force is 309th in country averaging just 58 PPG. In two of their last five games they have failed to reach 40 points.  Air Force has trouble on the boards as well getting outrebounded by an average of 10 RPG this year.

The Falcons are 0-3 ATS recieving a double-digit cushion this season as well. The books have been respecting BYU this season, installing them as double-digit favorites 10 times.  They have fared 5-5 ATS in those games.

BYU has three starters averaging over 15 PPG this season: Lee Cummard (17.3 PPG), Jonathan Tavernari (16.7 PPG) and Jimmer Fredette (15.5 PPG). Air Force will have a tough time stopping these guys and keeping pace on the other side of the floor.

BYU is 5-0 ATS in the last five meetings and we think they should have no problem extending that to six in a row tonight.

Free Pick: BYU -12 (-110)
