Check out which of today's NCAA Tournament games we are adding to our picks.

Day two of the field of 64 features 16 matchups. Below are just a few NCAA basketball picks to add to your already long list of choices. Only one upset happened yesterday, will today be different? Let’s see what the sportsbooks are offering on this Friday.

Georgetown vs Belmont

Belmont vs. GeorgetownThe Hoyas got a much-deserved 3 seed, and now have to meet up with 14th seeded Belmont this afternoon in the Midwest regional. The Hoyas got bounced out of the Big East tournament against Cincinnati in the quarterfinals, but were still granted a three seed in the big dance. Belmont on the other hand, won their conference title game in the A-Sun, against Florida Gulf Coast, 83-69.

Now the two teams meet in the real deal. Georgetown has opened as -3 point favorites. The Hoyas were not much of a preseason darling in the country, but quickly changed many minds after winning 13 of their first 14 games and beating teams like Louisville and Marquette early in the season.

Belmont will not roll over, however. The Bruins are one of the highest scoring teams in the country. Belmont ranks 4th in the country, scoring 81.5 points per game, all while shooting 48% from the field. They have four guys and almost a fifth that average double figure scoring.

Even though the Bruins are a tough team, I like the Hoyas a lot this season. They have the size and athleticism to make a deep run in the tournament.

John Ryan has decided to place his pick on the Hoyas, and I am going to agree thtat laying the three points with Georgetown is the way to go.

My Pick: Georgetown -3

Xavier vs Notre Dame

Xavier vs. Notre DameThis 7 seed versus the 10 seed in the South bracket is the final game of Friday and it will almost surely be worth staying up the watch. I don’t consider the seven versus ten seed an upset if the ten seed wins, much like the eight versus nine seed. Tonight, Notre Dame is favored by -2 ½ points and is the higher seed, but these teams are very evenly matched.

Xavier is another team that can score the ball with a lot of efficiency. They have three guys who can light it up from beyond the arc, and all three average double figures. Tu Holloway is their senior leader. He is not only a 17 points per game scorer, but he is also an excellent defender and will be key in stopping the half court sets of Notre Dame.

The Fighting Irish are one of those teams that you love and hate to watch at the same time. They have excellent offensive execution, but it isn’t exactly the most exciting thing to watch all the time. However, they have beaten a number one team this season, as well as great top 25 wins against, Louisville, Marquette and Pittsburgh.

Handicapper Steven Suarez has added the Fighting Irish to his picks, but I think Notre Dame has to watch out in this one. Xavier is a very good ten seed, and is probably the best of the double digit seeded teams. That being said, I’m taking the points with the Musketeers tonight in the late game.

My Pick: Xavier +2.5
