Today we expect to see a lot of scoring when these state rivals (Houston Texans & Dallas Cowboys) battle it out. One things clear, we should see a lot of offense out of both these teams today.
The Texans enter this game with one of the most promising QB's (David Carr) in the league. QB David Carr is having his best season in his career (leading the NFL in QB rating), while throwing seven touchdowns and only two interceptions.
While the Texans are scoring easily today, the Cowboys will also be scoring easily. It's no secret that the Cowboys offense has been very powerful as of late (In the last three weeks, the Cowboys are averaging 32 points per game). Keep in mind that the Cowboys averaged 32 points per game against defenses a lot better then the Texans. Now the Cowboys find themselves going up against one of the worst defenses in the league (giving up an average of 295.2 passing yards per game, while giving up an average of 435 total yards per game). The Cowboys might be able to send this game over the posted total by themselves! This would not surprise us at all as the Cowboys have a solid set of WR's, followed by a RB (Julius Jones) who is leading the league in rushing yards. We just don't see this Texans defense being able to control this Cowboys offense.
The bottom line, both these teams will score a lot sending this game over the posted total.
Play: Over.
