Cleveland Browns @ Baltimore Ravens Matchup

The Cleveland Browns Can Win Because...:

They have yet to play their best game this football betting season. The Browns are bad, but they haven't been as bad as they've shown so far this season. As a matter of fact, without a few key turnovers the Dawg Pound might be considered to be improved.

The Browns have to stop turning over the ball. They have held leads in both of their first two contests and both times, an ill-advised interception has cost them. The Browns have thrown a pick-six in each of their first two games and both of their main running backs, Peyton Hillis and Jerome Harrison, have lost fumbles.

Believe it or not, the Browns offense has made some big plays this season. They have three touchdown passes that stretched 30 yards or longer, which is impressive for a unit that is considered to be anemic.

Now if they could just find a way to run the ball consistently, they might have just enough offense to spring a surprise.

The Baltimore Ravens Should Win Because...:

The Browns couldn't beat Tampa Bay or Kansas City; how are they going to beat Baltimore?

The Ravens are fuming after their loss last week in Cincinnati and they feel as though they were partially jobbed with a couple of questionable penalty calls. On top of that, quarterback Joe Flacco threw four interceptions and had one of his worst days as a pro passer and you can be sure that he'll be looking to bounce back.

The Ravens have struggled to find balance on offense this season as Ray Rice hasn't been able to run wild quite yet. That's led to the burden falling squarely on the shoulder of Flacco. That should change this week as the Browns defense is soft enough to give up yards to Rice, Willis McGahee and Le'Ron McClain, and then be loose enough for Flacco to carve them up.

Outlook & Football Betting Prediction:

If this game was played later, in the middle of the season, there would be an opportunity for a Browns surprise. As it stands now, the Ravens are coming off a very tough loss last week against a division rival and they can't afford to lose again to an AFC North opponent.

The Browns are stuck with two inept quarterbacks and this week it will again be Seneca Wallace. We saw what he was capable of - or more accurately, incapable of - when he faced the mediocre Chiefs defense last week. An angry Ravens squad is not going to make things any easier.

On top of that, this is the Ravens home opener and they are going to want to put on a show for the home fans. The Browns won't score much in this game so if you can bet them at Pinnacle at -10 or -10.5, you should have a winner in line along with an easy cover.
