Saints, Colts get the SBR.tv treatment

If you thought the halftime show for Super Bowl XLIV was star-studded, wait until you check out Peter Loshak's three-part video on SBR.tv breaking the game down.

Peter's panel includes SBR moderator Justin7 and SBRforum.com feature writer Bob 'The Voice' Harvey.  The trio will discuss how the Colts and Saints have both performed over the past six weeks entering SB44, how the two defenses might fare and toss in their spread picks.

Joining the panel are several SBR posters, including amblai01 and Rio DeNero.

In Part 1 of the SBR.tv Super Bowl 44 preview, SBR.tv's Peter Loshak summarizes the key issues and circumstances surrounding the game, and then the panel discusses the significance of the starkly different ways the two teams have played over the past month and a half.

Some see the Saints' recent struggles vs the Colts' impressive excellence in the playoffs as being indicative of a major edge for the Colts, while others see it as possibly conferring line value to the Saints as a result of an overreaction by the betting public. Quotes from SBR posters THEGREAT30, coldhardfacts, and Rio DiNero are cited.

In Part 2, the panel discusses various on-field offensive and defensive factors involved in capping the Super Bowl. Do the Saints have an "opportunistic" defense that will cause Peyton Manning trouble? Or will Manning's impressive ability to avoid sacks and turnovers neutralize the Saints' D's apparent abilities? Is the Colts' defense over- or underrated? Are the Saints more balanced on offense and if so, how much is that likely to matter?

These are some of the issues discussed, helped along with quotes from SBR posters amblai01 and Mr Handicapable.

In Part 3, the panel turns their attention to the betting lines, examining the spread, money line, and total. Everyone gives their pick on the spread, and possible value on the total and on a spread/money line hedge are noted. A quote from SBR poster msec512 is cited.
