Have no fear, the Galaxy are starting to win again. What do they have in store for us this weekend against league-leading San Jose? Find out what the soccer odds makers have set out for us in this matchup.

The soccer odds for the match are out and the Galaxy are big underdogs at +221 at 5Dimes, while the Earthquakes are priced at +134.

A draw's at +250 and could be worth a second look as this one should come down to the wire.

The Galaxy have won three straight matches now, moving them to the middle of the Western Conference standings.

They first beat Portland 1-0 before a 3-2 win on the road against a strong Real Salt Lake team. The latest victory was the most impressive though as they bullied Vancouver 3-0 at the Home Depot Center.

All three goals came in the first half, with Mike Magee opening the scoring and Robbie Keane following up with a goal of his own close to fifteen minutes later. Then it was Landon Donovan’s turn and he converted from the penalty spot to put the game out of reach for the Whitecaps.

Galaxy returning to their best

David BeckhamTruly, it’s been a great turnaround for Bruce Arena and the Galaxy. People were starting to really worry, especially after they dominated the league last season en-route to the MLS cup.

Their toughest test, however, comes this weekend in San Jose.

The Earthquakes are flying high right now, sitting in first place in the West with a game in hand as well. They’ve picked up consecutive 2-1 victories (over Colorado and Real Salt Lake) heading into this clash with the Galaxy.

A win over RSL is never easy and that proved true for San Jose. They needed a late winner from Chris Wondolowski to secure the three points.

As if the winning goal could come from anyone else.

Wondolowski continues to shine for the Earthquakes. He leads the MLS with 13 goals, two more than any other player, and got on the scoresheet in both of San Jose’s recent wins.

The offense doesn’t stop there though, as Alan Gordon and Steven Lenhart have proven capable to lead the frontline alongside Wondolowski.

A marquee MLS matchup

There’s going to be a lot of quality on the field this weekend, and with Los Angeles rounding into form, we should be in for a very closely contested 90 minutes.

It may not be the sole reason, but having a fit and healthy Landon Donovan has made a world of difference.

Donovan had been away on international duty and the Galaxy desperately missed him. Just how much? Well they’ve won every game since he’s come back and Donovan’s been at the center of it all – he notched three goals and two assists in those three wins.

Having their best playmaker around has lifted team confidence majorly and that’s going to make Saturday’s match highly interesting.

We’re also eager to see how David Beckham does after he was snubbed by Stuart Pearce for the Great British Olympic team. Still one of the greatest passers around, he has four assists this season and will be looking to create again versus San Jose.

So, will the Galaxy grab their fourth straight win, or do the Earthquakes come out on a mission to show why they’re the team to beat in the Western Conference?

We think they'll cancel out each other here. Our best soccer betting pick is on a draw priced at +250 at the sportsbooks.
