Let our free Premiere League tips and predictions point you in the right direction when it comes time to place your soccer picks this weekend.
Your Humble Handicapper did pretty well
last weekend with his soccer picks, but Mrs Richardson knows that winter shoes
just don’t cut it for the spring season. Thankfully there’s plenty more money
to be won in the next round of EPL matches.
Chelsea V West Brom
Chelsea have a massive game on their hands
on Saturday when they take on West Bromwich Albion. The 4th-place (after Spurs’
Monday night win) Blues are in real danger of dropping out of the top four with
Arsenal two points behind them. West Brom are clear longshots to make it into
the top four (at 250/1) but they can have a huge impact on the Champions League
places by beating Chelsea. I think Chelsea will play with the fear and start
making amends for the recent bad run of form. Chelsea win 3-0 at 7/1.
Everton V Reading
Two teams looking to bounce back after
disappointing defeat at the weekend, when Everton and Reading face-off in
another 3 PM kick off on Saturday. Reading are fighting for their survival and
Everton are having a go at a Europa league place. The Toffees are five points
behind fifth-place Arsenal and I feel it's unlikely that they will reach any
higher than that this season (soccer odds offer them at 14/1 on a top four finish), but with
West Brom just two and Liverpool three points behind them they could drop further
down. This means, sorry Redding, Everton will react like Chelsea to their
defeat and chalk up a home victory. Everton win at 2/5.
Man Utd V Norwich
Banker of the weekend, irrespective of
Norwich's good result against Everton at the weekend this game at Old Trafford
is all going to be about the champions elect and the question is who's going to
win but by how much will United be victorious by. Spread your sports picks around on
quite a few goals, but it's definitely Manchester United victory. United win at
1/3.
Southampton V QPR
Despite the fact that Southampton are no
longer in the relegation zone this is still very much a six pointer for the two
sides I do think Queens Park Rangers will go down and the bookies have them at
1/6 to be relegated as I think Saints at home will have the better of Rangers
who surely must admit that not even the Lord Harry can salvage victory from the
jaws of this season. Saints win at 18/19.
Stoke V West Ham
I feel the need to throw a draw into the
mix and what better game and Stoke versus West Brom West Ham. Stoke seem to be
settling for draws more and more West Ham seem to be strangers to victory I do
think this game will end honours even but I do think we will see a couple of
goals so I'm backing 1-1 in this game at 5/1.
Sunderland V Fulham
I think this game is an absolute coin toss.
Both teams looked to be safe from relegation but neither team will do
especially well come next May, I don't think either side will bust a gut to
take three points from this match although Sunderland could do with putting a
bit more daylight between them and the drop done.
Swansea V Newcastle
I think this will be another tight game as
Swansea will be full of joy and enthusiasm after their league cup victory last
weekend, but Newcastle will also be full of self-belief after their classic 4-2
victory over Southampton, (much as predicted by your Humble Handicapper) last
weekend. Almost just for the fact that I haven't backed an away win yet in my
prediction I am tempted to back Newcastle to win this game which is available
at 5/2, but the great cloud of pessimism suggests that it will be a Swansea
victory (at 11/10) so much as I would love Newcastle to start climbing the
table I think the best the Geordies could hope for from this game would be a
draw, at 9/4.
Wigan V Liverpool
Liverpool should absolutely trounce Wigan
and I think this game is a much safer bet for an away victory, something
offered by the sports books at 4/5.
Spurs V Arsenal
Sunday’s London derby Spurs versus Arsenal are
notoriously tricky things to predict, but I think the most significant thing to
decide a winner in this top four, six- pointer; it's the coin is that you take
out of your pocket and toss. Steven Suarez is calling for a draw, so check out his Soccer picks.
Aston Villa V Man City
Aston Villa are real danger of going down (at 5/6) Manchester City are real danger of letting the league slip (they are 25/1
to win the EPL this term) neither side can you really afford to lose I just
don't think Aston Villa have the belief or the quality to compete against
Manchester City. City
win at 1/5.
